OUTDOOR BOOTCAMP

 

At our outdoor bootcamp arrive ready for a full 60 minute all body functional workout. 

Start with a group warm-up to prepare your body and motivate your mind to go further before we step into the circuit workout of the day.

Followed by a debrief, workout stations are set up and ready for the functional training circuits. No body part is spared, you'll train your entire body to support muscle growth, improved balance, co-ordination and explosive power.

After all of that hardwork and focus, it's time to increase the energy and the pace with some group cardio challenges.

Now....relax. Stretching is very important and we prioritise the end of the workout for some relaxing cool down stretches to leave you relaxed and ready for whatever comes next.

Finally stay after the bootcamp and enjoy a complimentary refreshment and take time to get to know your fellow bootcampers.

RUNNERS  BOOTCAMP

For regular runners and beginners alike, the runners bootcamp is designed to support participants in, often overlooked, areas of training:

- Running specific strength and power training

- Abdominal stability

- Balance and co-ordination

- Warm-Up and Post Run Stretches

By focusing on these areas the bootcamp seeks to support participants with increased running performance, injury proevention and faster recovery.

The bootcamp runs every Friday morning during spring, summer and autumn outdoors.

Taught by Bruce Maidment, certified personal trainer and sports conditioning coach.
